Field Engineer, Public Sector
About this role
Scale seeks a Field Engineer to support federal AI projects, serving as the technical bridge between large public sector customers and internal teams. You'll design data pipelines, create documentation and tools, and ensure seamless customer success with Scale's platform while requiring an active TS/SCI clearance.
What you'll do
- Build end-to-end data integrations syncing customer data to and from Scale's platform
- Optimize data pipelines and provide input on API design and schemas with customer engineering teams
- Design and maintain playbooks, internal tools, documentation, and SDKs for customer success
- Debug technical issues, resolve blockers, and own customer escalations collaborating with engineering
- Partner with Account Executives and Product Managers to identify feature requests and drive product improvements
- Represent Scale at customer events and develop expertise in LLMs, image annotation, and API integrations
