About this role
A technical security generalist role focused on building detection systems, automating incident response, and conducting forensic investigations across cloud and enterprise platforms for public sector clients. The position requires an active Top Secret clearance and combines hands-on security engineering with incident response and threat analysis.
What you'll do
- Engineer and deploy detection logic across cloud and enterprise environments with version control and peer review
- Build incident response automation, runbooks, and tooling to reduce containment timelines
- Design and improve telemetry pipelines through schema normalization, enrichment, and quality checks
- Conduct digital forensics investigations and malware analysis to understand attack vectors
- Integrate alerting systems with messaging and ticketing platforms for traceable response workflows
- Partner with cross-functional teams to harden identity, access patterns, and implement security guardrails
