About this role
Scout Motors seeks a Drive Train Specialist Engineer to lead electric powertrain systems during pilot and series production of their revolutionary electrified vehicles. You'll serve as the technical bridge between product, production, and quality teams, troubleshooting drivetrain issues, driving process improvements, and ensuring manufacturing milestones are met.
What you'll do
- Lead electric drivetrain technical operations in the Pilot Hall environment
- Troubleshoot and resolve e-motor, gearbox, and system integration issues to ensure stable production
- Define and implement containment and corrective actions for production deviations
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams on cross-functional issues
- Conduct root cause analyses and drive sustainable process improvements
- Provide technical coaching, training, and guidance to production teams on standards and methods
