About this role
Join Semgrep's engineering team as a Software Engineering Intern to build developer-focused security tools. You'll work across a full-stack codebase using Python, TypeScript, and React, shipping features that help teams integrate security into their workflows while learning from experienced engineers in a collaborative startup environment.
What you'll do
- Design and ship full-stack features using Python, PostgreSQL, TypeScript, and React
- Collaborate with product, design, and user teams to identify and address pain points
- Analyze aggregated metrics and run experiments to improve core Semgrep workflows
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and team demos
- Work with a peer mentor to develop skills and achieve internship goals
- Present completed work to the team at the internship conclusion
