Seurat seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to bridge additive manufacturing and CNC machining operations, overseeing secondary machining, fixture design, equipment selection, and process optimization for metal components. The role combines hands-on technical expertise with manufacturing strategy and continuous improvement in a fast-growing additive manufacturing company.

What you'll do

  • Program, set up, and operate CNC machining centers for secondary operations on additively manufactured components
  • Design custom fixtures and workholding solutions while optimizing tooling and cutting parameters for efficiency
  • Manage post-processing machinery including EDM, grinders, and cleaning equipment; troubleshoot quality and dimensional issues
  • Specify, evaluate, and source CNC equipment, tooling, and metrology systems; lead installation and validation
  • Drive root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and SPC methodologies
  • Conduct Design for Manufacturability reviews and develop capacity plans to support production scaling
