Software Engineer, Agent - Insurance

About this role

Sierra is seeking a Software Engineer to design and deploy production-grade AI agents for the insurance and financial services sectors. You'll own the full lifecycle of mission-critical agents that directly impact customer experience and revenue, partnering with enterprise clients to solve complex business challenges.

What you'll do

• Design and build production-grade AI agents for insurance and financial services use cases
• Own the complete Agent Development Life Cycle from pilot through deployment and iteration
• Partner directly with enterprise customers and startups to understand business needs and translate them into agent solutions
• Develop and refine AI agents for complex interactions like claims processing and quote generation
• Collaborate with research, product, and platform teams to shape Sierra's AI agent platform evolution
• Experiment with emerging AI technologies like voice models and integrate them at enterprise scale
