Data Engineer
About this role
Sigma is seeking a Data Engineer to build and maintain production data pipelines and infrastructure across Snowflake and Databricks. You'll architect scalable data models, optimize ETL workflows, and advance data governance while collaborating across product and engineering teams in a fast-moving startup environment.
What you'll do
- Design and manage production data pipelines in Snowflake using tools like Fivetran, dbt, and Dagster
- Build processes to scale demo asset data across multiple Cloud Data Warehouses
- Expand Terraform deployments across Snowflake infrastructure
- Develop and implement data governance frameworks with repeatable processes
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Analytics, Infrastructure Engineering, Product, and GTM teams
- Optimize ETL pipelines for internal and external demo use cases
