Data Engineer
About this role
Sigma is seeking a Data Engineer to design and optimize production data pipelines on Snowflake and Databricks, build scalable demo asset infrastructure, and establish data governance frameworks. You'll work cross-functionally with Analytics and Infrastructure teams in a fast-moving startup environment with greenfield opportunities.
What you'll do
- Architect and manage production data pipelines in Snowflake using Fivetran, dbt, and Hightouch
- Build and scale demo asset data infrastructure across multiple cloud data warehouses
- Establish and scale data governance policies with repeatable processes
- Partner with infrastructure engineering to ensure high availability of critical data assets
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and GTM teams on data initiatives
- Monitor and optimize data quality using tools like Metaplane
