Sila is seeking a Battery Operations Technician to contribute to the assembly and testing of lithium-ion batteries using innovative materials. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and thrive in a collaborative environment focused on improving battery technology.

What you'll do

  • Prepare and characterize chemical mixtures for batteries
  • Assemble and test lithium-ion batteries
  • Fabricate mechanical fixtures and perform preventative maintenance
  • Record work and maintain data accuracy in an online database
  • Manage inventory and keep the workspace organized
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate results
