What you'll do
- Select, qualify, and release electronic and electromechanical components including connectors, cables, and RF hardware
- Review component specifications, datasheets, and drawings for new product introductions and ensure design compatibility
- Evaluate alternate and second-source components to mitigate supply chain risks and obsolescence
- Monitor component lifecycle events (PCN/EOL) and develop proactive mitigation strategies
- Support failure analysis and root cause investigation for component-related field issues
- Maintain component databases, part numbering systems, and ensure regulatory compliance (RoHS, REACH)
