Software Engineer Intern

Join Simular as a Software Engineer Intern in Palo Alto to work with the founding team on AI agent development. You'll contribute across product features, infrastructure scaling, customer integrations, and prototyping in a fast-paced startup environment.

What you'll do

• Build new features and optimize performance for core AI agent products
• Assist with infrastructure scaling and virtual machine management
• Create scripts and integrations for customer-specific agent deployments
• Collaborate with designers and researchers on prototyping and user testing
• Work across the full technology stack from frontend to backend to deployment

What they're looking for

• Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar programming languages
• Computer Science fundamentals and problem-solving
• Competitive programming experience (preferred)
• Full-stack development capabilities
• Adaptability in ambiguous environments
• Communication and teamwork
• AI or agent development (bonus)
