About this role
Skydio seeks a technical support engineer to troubleshoot complex drone platform integrations, Cloud infrastructure, and networking issues for enterprise and government customers. You'll combine cloud operations, wireless networking, and REST API expertise to optimize UAS system performance and reduce engineering escalations.
What you'll do
- Diagnose and resolve flight communication, data flow, and cloud integration issues for high-uptime customer environments
- Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot private Cloud instances on Ubuntu/AWS for customers with privacy requirements
- Support and debug REST-based third-party integrations with the Skydio Cloud platform
- Troubleshoot UAS Command & Control (C2) networking across cellular, WiFi, and point-to-point radio systems
- Triage and mentor support team on cloud, infrastructure, and integration issues to reduce engineering escalations
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to improve customer self-service and support processes
