About this role
Smartsheet seeks an Enterprise Technical Solutions Engineer to provide specialized technical expertise during the sales process for their work management SaaS platform. You'll architect solutions, develop proofs of concept, and serve as a technical resource for complex customer requirements involving APIs, integrations, and enterprise systems.
What you'll do
- Collaborate with sales teams to develop solution proposals aligned with customer requirements
- Respond to complex technical requests involving API integrations, enterprise architecture, and identity management
- Build proofs of concept and solution diagrams demonstrating product capabilities
- Provide expert guidance on Smartsheet API, premium applications, SSO/SAML, and third-party integrations
- Surface field insights to Product and Engineering teams for product feedback
- Present at customer events and contribute to internal enablement materials

- Solutions Engineering (5+ years SaaS/enterprise experience)
- APIs and authentication protocols (OAuth2, SAML, SSO, OpenID)
