Solution Engineer

About this role

Snowflake is looking for a Solution Engineer to tackle complex customer challenges and facilitate large-scale sales processes. The ideal candidate will blend technical expertise with strong presentation skills, working closely with the sales team and clients to demonstrate the value of Snowflake's data solutions.

What you'll do

• Present Snowflake’s technology to executives and technical teams
• Provide hands-on demonstrations and support during sales cycles
• Maintain knowledge of competitive technologies
• Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering for improvements
• Conduct deep discovery of customers’ architecture frameworks
• Assist in closing business deals

What they're looking for

• 10+ years in industry, 5+ in pre-sales
• Excellent presentation skills
• Experience with Database, ETL, analytics, and cloud tech
• Hands-on SQL, SQL analytics, and Python proficiency
• Ability to connect customer problems with solutions
• Degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
• Familiarity with data architecture concepts
• Willingness to travel approximately 30%
