Application Developer 2

About this role

Sono Bello seeks an experienced Application Developer 2 to own and deliver OutSystems low-code solutions from design through production in a fully remote role. You'll mentor junior developers, lead production support and incident resolution, and drive improvements in solution quality and team practices across the platform.

What you'll do

• Lead implementation of OutSystems Reactive Web applications and workflow automation features in Service Studio
• Conduct code reviews focusing on clarity, maintainability, testing quality, and documentation standards
• Support production solutions and lead incident triage using logs, execution history, and telemetry
• Mentor Application Developer 1 teammates through documentation, code reviews, and knowledge sharing
• Partner with product and design teams on solution architecture, identifying risks and proposing alternatives
• Participate in weekly on-call rotation and contribute to incident reviews that prevent recurring issues

• OutSystems platform expertise (Service Studio, Integration Studio, LifeTime/ODC)
• Reactive Web application development with JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and SQL
• REST/SOAP API integration and troubleshooting
• Data modeling with OutSystems Entities and Aggregates
• C#/.NET for extending low-code applications
• Production support and incident troubleshooting using logs and telemetry
• Mentoring and clear communication
• AI-assisted development tools with responsible validation
