About this role
Sony Interactive Entertainment is hiring a contractor Software Development Engineer in Test to join their Quality Engineering team. You'll develop and maintain automated test frameworks, execute comprehensive testing across multiple platforms, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality for PlayStation services used by millions worldwide.
What you'll do
- Design and develop test automation frameworks and automated test suites for UI and API testing
- Create test strategies, plans, cases, and scenarios for new and existing features
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing across multiple platforms and devices
- Analyze test results, investigate failures, identify root causes, and work with engineering teams to resolve issues
- Monitor CI/CD pipelines and automated test executions, communicating quality status and risks to stakeholders
- Collaborate with geographically distributed cross-functional teams on test execution and release readiness
