About this role

Space Kinetic is seeking recent graduates for a 3-month Flight Software Engineering Development Program designed as a pathway to full-time employment. You'll develop and test flight software for innovative space systems while working with experienced engineers across multiple disciplines in an onsite, fast-paced startup environment.

What you'll do

  • Support development, integration, and testing of flight software for space systems
  • Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, controls, and systems engineers on hardware integration
  • Work on one to three meaningful, mission-critical projects assigned by mentors
  • Participate in system-level problem solving and software development activities
  • Provide monthly progress updates to leadership
  • Learn and apply best practices in embedded and systems programming
