About this role

SpaceX seeks an Application Software Engineer to develop mission-critical systems supporting launch vehicle production, Starship manufacturing, and Starlink satellite operations. You'll own full-stack projects across manufacturing platforms, data streaming systems, and customer-facing applications that directly impact SpaceX's ability to accelerate space exploration.

What you'll do

  • Develop reliable, production-grade software solutions used across SpaceX operations
  • Design and build new applications that improve manufacturing and flight operations
  • Prototype key design concepts and validate technical constraints
  • Take end-to-end ownership of software engineering and product development
  • Analyze user problems deeply to create efficient, scalable solutions
  • Collaborate on architecture, design decisions, and code reviews with cross-functional teams
