You'll lead technician teams through design, build, and operations while troubleshooting cryogenic and high-pressure systems to support launch campaigns.
What you'll do
- Own launch pad fluid systems (cryogenic, compressible, incompressible) as responsible engineer
- Troubleshoot and optimize systems using heat transfer, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and controls knowledge
- Direct technician teams on pad installation, activation, maintenance, and operational procedures
- Develop and improve functional automation for assigned fluid systems
- Drive continuous improvements by implementing hardware, software, and procedural upgrades
- Present certification packages and engineering data to NASA, US Space Force, and government agencies
What they're looking for
- Fluid dynamics and thermodynamics
- Heat transfer and cryogenic systems
- Control systems and instrumentation
- CAD software (SOLIDWORKS, Siemens NX)
- Python or data analysis programming
- High-pressure and hazardous systems experience
- ASME standards (B31.3, BPV Code Section VIII)
- Team leadership and technical communication
