About this role
SpaceX seeks a Chemical Process Engineer to design and operate cryogenic propellant processing systems for Starship launch facilities across multiple sites. You'll manage fluid system design, thermofluid analysis, and equipment commissioning while collaborating with operational teams to support the world's most powerful rocket.
What you'll do
- Design, build, and operate cryogenic propellant processing and fluid systems for launch, test, and production facilities
- Perform thermofluid analysis and design gaseous and liquid cryogenic fluid systems
- Manage fabrication, installation, and construction projects at launch and test sites
- Design and commission air separation, liquefaction, and liquified natural gas production equipment
- Perform balance of plant calculations and interdisciplinary project management from concept through activation
- Collaborate with operational teams to ensure system design is operationally efficient and maintainable
