About this role
SpaceX is seeking a Civil Engineer to lead infrastructure design and construction projects at the McGregor test facility. You'll manage multidisciplinary teams through planning, procurement, and construction phases while optimizing facility systems for rocket development operations.
What you'll do
- Lead engineering teams and contractors through design, procurement, and construction phases
- Develop and issue technical drawings, documentation, and project reports
- Write, negotiate, and manage construction contracts with multiple subcontractors
- Manage project budgets, cost forecasting, and financial accountability
- Coordinate work schedules between internal teams and external contractors
- Define production processes including inventory management, quality control, and material traceability
