What you'll do

  • Program and operate CMM and Romer ARM equipment using PC-DMIS for precision inspection of mechanical parts and assemblies
  • Interpret GD&T requirements from engineering drawings and identify dimension interpretation issues
  • Select appropriate gauging and inspection tools to verify feature tolerances and ensure conformance to specifications
  • Create, maintain, and organize CMM inspection programs in coordination with Quality Assurance
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to develop inspection plans and identify design GD&T errors affecting manufacturability
  • Train others on inspection techniques and processes to improve work center capabilities
