IT Network Engineer
About this role
SpaceX seeks a Network Engineer to maintain and support the critical campus network infrastructure that enables rocket design, manufacturing, and launch operations. You'll manage routing, switching, VoIP, and WiFi systems while troubleshooting issues, planning maintenance windows, and implementing security solutions in a fast-paced aerospace environment.
What you'll do
- Procure, configure, and install network hardware such as switches, access points, UPS, and PDUs
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues to maintain stability and prevent downtime
- Plan and coordinate network maintenance windows and software updates with stakeholders
- Perform wireless site surveys to identify coverage gaps and implement improvements
- Configure and troubleshoot network access control and security features
- Document work in ticketing systems and communicate progress to IT team and users
