IT Network Infrastructure Technician

About this role

SpaceX is seeking an IT Network Infrastructure Technician to support the installation and maintenance of critical communication systems for various missions. This role involves working with fiber optics, copper cabling, and audio/video systems to ensure seamless connectivity in production and launch operations.

What you'll do

• Install and troubleshoot fiber, network, audio, video, and RF cabling
• Document test results for various cabling systems
• Build and maintain telecommunications rooms
• Correct wiring errors using measuring instruments
• Collaborate on troubleshooting issues
• Read schematics and engineering drawings

What they're looking for

• Experience in fiber optics and copper cabling
• Knowledge of audio, video, and RF equipment
• Ability to install low voltage and optical cables
• Understanding of telecom network standards
• Familiarity with troubleshooting tools
• Proficiency in using oscilloscopes and multi-meters
• Operational experience with industrial machinery
• Knowledge of network architecture and protocols
