About this role

SpaceX seeks a Launch Engineer to process Falcon 9 rockets for rapid reuse, integration, and launch operations at Vandenberg Space Force Base. You'll lead hands-on assembly, testing, and on-site launch operations while directing technicians and collaborating across engineering teams to ensure flight readiness and operational excellence.

What you'll do

  • Process Falcon 9 flight vehicles for integration and launch, supporting rapid reusability
  • Develop and execute checkout procedures for rockets and ground support equipment
  • Lead hands-on assembly, integration, and testing of vehicle assemblies
  • Direct on-site operations and resolve off-nominal test results with cross-functional teams
  • Supervise field technicians and design tools/hardware for vehicle assembly and testing
  • Investigate root causes, implement improvements, and manage non-conformances
