About this role
SpaceX seeks a Launch Engineer to support Starlink satellite and customer payload integration at Vandenberg Space Force Base. You'll develop integration procedures, coordinate with engineering teams and technicians, and drive quality improvements in a fast-paced aerospace environment.
What you'll do
- Provide engineering support for Starlink satellite and customer payload integration
- Develop and execute integration and checkout procedures for spacecraft and ground support equipment
- Collaborate daily with engineering staff and skilled technicians
- Manage multiple priorities while tracking progress toward project goals
- Convert non-conformances into actionable improvements and updated work instructions

- Multi-disciplinary system assembly experience
- Launch vehicle or spacecraft integration knowledge
- Clean room operations (100,000 class or better)
- Test operations with gases and fluids
- Test plan and procedure writing
- Data acquisition and field measurements
- Hazardous systems handling (high pressure, high energy)
- Strong communication and attention to detail
