About this role

SpaceX seeks a Launch Engineer to support Starlink satellite and customer payload integration at Vandenberg Space Force Base. You'll develop integration procedures, coordinate with engineering teams and technicians, and drive quality improvements in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

What you'll do

  • Provide engineering support for Starlink satellite and customer payload integration
  • Develop and execute integration and checkout procedures for spacecraft and ground support equipment
  • Collaborate daily with engineering staff and skilled technicians
  • Manage multiple priorities while tracking progress toward project goals
  • Convert non-conformances into actionable improvements and updated work instructions

  • Multi-disciplinary system assembly experience
  • Launch vehicle or spacecraft integration knowledge
  • Clean room operations (100,000 class or better)
  • Test operations with gases and fluids
  • Test plan and procedure writing
  • Data acquisition and field measurements
  • Hazardous systems handling (high pressure, high energy)
  • Strong communication and attention to detail
