About this role

SpaceX is hiring new graduate silicon engineers to develop next-generation chip technology for the Starlink program across multiple disciplines including ASIC/FPGA design, RF/analog IC, digital signal processing, and physical design. This full-time role offers hands-on experience in pre- and post-silicon engineering using state-of-the-art tools and methodologies at locations in California and Washington.

What you'll do

  • Participate in ASIC/FPGA design and verification flows from architecture through emulation and lab validation
  • Develop RF/analog IC circuits in advanced SiGe or CMOS processes and perform IC floor planning and layout
  • Design RTL blocks for digital signal processing and communications systems using SystemVerilog with MATLAB verification
  • Execute physical design steps including synthesis, place-and-route, timing analysis, and silicon tapeout
  • Write embedded software in C/C++ or Python for chip bring-up and post-silicon validation
  • Develop automation scripts and methodologies to improve physical design processes
