About this role

SpaceX is hiring new graduate engineers to develop next-generation silicon for Starlink, working across ASIC/FPGA design, RF/analog circuits, DSP, and physical design. You'll participate in full silicon development cycles using state-of-the-art tools, from pre-silicon through post-silicon validation, as part of a hands-on team building technologies for Mars exploration.

What you'll do

  • Participate in ASIC/FPGA design and verification flows, contributing to architecture, RTL implementation, and emulation
  • Perform chip bring-up and validation in the lab using C/C++ and Python
  • Design and simulate RF/analog IC systems, derive subsystem specifications, and develop circuits in SiGe or CMOS processes
  • Develop RTL designs using SystemVerilog for DSP and digital communication blocks with verification against MATLAB models
  • Execute physical design steps including synthesis, place-and-route, timing analysis, and signoff checks
  • Develop automation scripts and methodologies to improve physical design processes
