Operations Engineer, Facilities (Starlink)

About this role

SpaceX seeks an Operations Engineer for its Starlink facilities team in Redmond to optimize manufacturing and office operations through process development, data analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives. You'll build systems and dashboards, drive efficiency gains, and support strategic facilities projects in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll do

• Develop visual standards for work boards, JIRA, Power BI dashboards, and department workflows
• Support continuous improvement projects including process standardization and facilities rollouts
• Define department metrics and create associated dashboards to measure operational health
• Conduct SQL and data analysis to identify trends and support decision-making
• Design automation solutions that reduce business risk or improve team efficiency
• Implement tools and systems to eliminate wasted effort for engineers and technicians
