About this role
Optimize Starship production processes through strategic planning, data-driven analysis, and cross-functional collaboration. The role focuses on developing analytical tools, process models, and production layouts while identifying and resolving operational bottlenecks to improve efficiency, quality, safety, and output.
What you'll do
- Create analytical tools to diagnose production, supply chain, and operational issues related to delivery, capacity, cost, and utilization
- Develop and manage production strategy to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities for quality and cost improvements
- Build process flow models to analyze system behavior and synchronize production with other company functions
- Design production line layouts that achieve throughput targets while optimizing space utilization
- Conduct root cause analysis on operational challenges and implement corrective solutions
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators to guide production optimization decisions
