About this role
Fashion Nova seeks a Senior Software Engineer to develop and enhance their Shopify-based eCommerce platform and internal data tools. You'll lead technical initiatives, mentor team members, and drive scalability for a fast-growing $2B social commerce brand.
What you'll do
- Design and develop software using industry best practices for security, performance, and maintainability
- Lead sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives using Scrum or Kanban methodologies
- Provide technical mentorship and onboarding support to engineering team members
- Own task sizing, code quality, and recommend improvements to existing systems
- Develop and maintain comprehensive unit tests to ensure code stability and compatibility
- Provide third-level emergency support to maintain site operations with minimal downtime
