About this role

SpaceX seeks an Operations Engineer for the Starlink supply chain team to optimize materials management and satellite production processes. You'll lead improvement initiatives, manage equipment and infrastructure upgrades, and collaborate across development, supply chain, and production teams to enhance efficiency and reliability.

What you'll do

  • Plan and execute capital equipment, infrastructure, and facility layout upgrades for materials management operations
  • Manage material flow and logistics projects with tight deadlines while coordinating with multiple stakeholders
  • Drive process improvements to boost inventory performance, on-time delivery, and reduce waste
  • Analyze material flow challenges, identify root causes, and implement solutions
  • Develop and continuously improve key performance indicators and operational metrics
  • Extract and transform data to communicate status and build business cases for improvement initiatives
