About this role
SpaceX seeks a Backend Software Engineer (C/C++) to design and maintain the company's test infrastructure framework that validates flight systems and hardware across all vehicle programs. You'll build scalable, performant testing tools critical to mission success while collaborating with flight software teams and working on SpaceXAI initiatives.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain core test infrastructure framework and applications used company-wide
- Improve reliability, performance, and safety of test software systems
- Collaborate with flight software engineers to develop features and enhance user experiences
- Own all aspects of software engineering and product development for test infrastructure
- Investigate user problems and design efficient solutions
- Work on SpaceXAI tooling to enhance engineering capacity through AI
