About this role
SpaceX seeks a Software Engineer for Manufacturing to develop mission-critical applications supporting launch vehicle production, Starship reusability, and Starlink operations. You'll own full-stack projects from design through deployment, collaborating with teams across the company to deliver high-reliability software that directly enables SpaceX's operational goals.
What you'll do
- Develop reliable, production-grade software solutions used across SpaceX operations
- Design and build new applications to improve manufacturing and operational efficiency
- Create prototypes to validate design concepts and identify technical constraints
- Manage complete software engineering lifecycle from conception through deployment
- Analyze user needs deeply to architect and implement efficient solutions
- Participate in architecture reviews, design discussions, and code review processes
