About this role
Stratolaunch is looking for a Senior or Staff-level GNC Engineer to contribute to the development of hypersonic flight control systems, focusing on design, development, and verification of algorithms. The role requires a strong foundation in flight dynamics and the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively.
What you'll do
- Develop advanced algorithms for GNC requirements
- Create hypersonic plant modeling and analysis tools
- Document GNC designs through Algorithm Description Documents
- Verify algorithm designs against requirements
- Support overall flight control system development and testing
- Communicate regularly with Vehicle Management System and GNC Leads

- Proficient in Matlab
- Proficient in Simulink
- Experience with Git or Bitbucket
- BS degree in relevant field
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
