GNC Engineer

About this role

Stratolaunch is looking for a Senior or Staff-level GNC Engineer to contribute to the development of hypersonic flight control systems, focusing on design, development, and verification of algorithms. The role requires a strong foundation in flight dynamics and the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively.

What you'll do

• Develop advanced algorithms for GNC requirements
• Create hypersonic plant modeling and analysis tools
• Document GNC designs through Algorithm Description Documents
• Verify algorithm designs against requirements
• Support overall flight control system development and testing
• Communicate regularly with Vehicle Management System and GNC Leads

• Proficient in Matlab
• Proficient in Simulink
• Experience with Git or Bitbucket
• BS degree in relevant field
• Ability to obtain a security clearance
