About this role
Stripe is seeking a Platform Infrastructure Software Engineer to design and build next-generation financial products for their Revenue and Financial Automation organization. You'll work on distributed systems powering billing, subscriptions, and revenue management for hundreds of thousands of businesses globally, collaborating across infrastructure, security, and product teams.
What you'll do
- Design and architect next-generation Stripe products for high-growth scalability
- Develop, test, and ship code across infrastructure and platform systems daily
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including infrastructure, security, design, and operations
- Debug and resolve critical production issues across multiple service layers
- Mentor and support other engineers in their growth and development
- Deliver user-centric solutions through stakeholder and customer collaboration

- Backend software development (Go, Java, C/C++, or similar)

- Production debugging and troubleshooting
