Software Engineer, ML Tools

About this role

Join Waymo's ML Infrastructure team to build tools and platforms that accelerate autonomous driving development. You'll automate data selection and preparation for model training while collaborating with ML engineers to improve their workflows through better UX, automation, and intelligent agents.

What you'll do

• Automate data selection and preparation workflows for ML model training using Waymo and Alphabet technologies
• Develop backend services and large-scale data processing jobs in C++ or Python
• Build web-based frontends to improve ML engineer productivity and experience
• Collaborate with ML engineers to identify pain points and implement solutions
• Maintain and scale large datasets supporting the model development lifecycle
• Incorporate user feedback into platform designs and continuous improvements
