Software Engineer, Frontend

About this role

Tessera Labs is seeking a Frontend Engineer to build sophisticated UIs and dashboards for enterprise AI automation platforms. You'll own feature development end-to-end in a fast-paced startup, shipping polished interfaces that integrate with complex business systems while optimizing for performance and usability.

What you'll do

• Build data visualization interfaces, workflow management UIs, and real-time dashboards for AI automation
• Design and maintain scalable component libraries with consistent design patterns and accessibility standards
• Implement complex client-side state management with optimistic updates and real-time synchronization
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to optimize speed and user experience
• Take ownership of architectural and UI design decisions with minimal guidance in a high-autonomy environment
• Adapt quickly to changing priorities and startup pivots while balancing speed with maintainability

• React (advanced patterns, custom hooks, SSR with NextJS/TanStack Start)
• TypeScript (generics, utility types, strict typing)
• State management and data fetching libraries
• Performance optimization (memoization, render optimization, virtualization)
