About this role
Trace3 seeks a Platform Operations Engineer, DevOps with TS clearance to support space programs in classified environments. You'll manage OpenShift deployments, design Rundeck automation, and provide hands-on infrastructure troubleshooting across compute, network, and storage layers while maintaining security compliance and serving as the primary escalation point during mission-critical incidents.
What you'll do
- Oversee deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management of OpenShift environments in classified networks
- Design and maintain Rundeck runbooks for deployment workflows, system administration, and incident response
- Provide operational expertise for Linux and Windows systems including patching, configuration management, and troubleshooting
- Act as escalation point for outages and platform instability, conducting root-cause analysis across infrastructure layers
- Maintain adherence to security controls, compliance frameworks, and configuration standards in classified environments
- Coordinate resolution activities across infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, and program stakeholders during deployments and incidents
