True Anomaly seeks a Flight Software Engineer I (New Grad) to develop firmware and flight software for autonomous spacecraft and space-based systems. This 3-month temporary role offers hands-on experience across the full spacecraft development lifecycle, with potential for conversion to permanent employment.

What you'll do

  • Develop and test flight software for spacecraft on-board computers and processing units
  • Integrate GNC algorithms with flight software systems
  • Maintain Command Telemetry Database (CDTB) for ground and on-orbit operations
  • Develop device drivers and communications protocol libraries for flight hardware
  • Design and implement satellite subsystem simulators for HITL/SITL environments
  • Collaborate with ground command and control software teams on sequencing and scripting
