About this role

True Anomaly seeks a Seeker Responsible Engineer to lead the technical development of electro-optical sensor systems for advanced spacecraft. You will own the complete signal chain from optical collection through image processing, drive requirements across multidisciplinary teams, and serve as the technical authority ensuring mission-ready seeker performance from concept through on-orbit operation.

What you'll do

  • Own seeker sensor system as Responsible Engineer, managing technical direction and performance accountability across full lifecycle
  • Decompose system requirements into subsystem and component specifications with full traceability and verification
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams spanning optics, detectors, electronics, firmware, and software for integrated design
  • Apply radiometric budgeting to allocate signal, noise, and margin across sensor design
  • Define and support integration, characterization, and qualification test campaigns
  • Present design status and analysis results to customers and stakeholders at design reviews and milestones
