Forward Deployed Engineer - GTM
About this role
TrueFoundry seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to own the full technical lifecycle of enterprise AI infrastructure deals—from discovery and architecture design through POC execution and close. You'll serve as the technical authority for customers adopting production agentic systems, combining backend engineering expertise with business acumen to drive both customer success and product direction.
What you'll do
- Own end-to-end technical deal strategy including discovery, demos, architecture discussions, and proof-of-concept execution
- Co-define success criteria with customers and execute POCs by building integrations, agent workflows, and evaluation pipelines
- Make architectural decisions for how customers run AI systems in production, acting as the trusted technical authority
- Serve as the primary technical face of TrueFoundry to enterprise customers and help close deals
- Gather field intelligence on customer needs and product gaps, providing structured feedback to engineering and product teams
What they're looking for
- Backend engineering (Python, Go, or TypeScript) with 3–7 years shipping production systems
- Kubernetes and major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- LLM, agent, and ML pipeline experience in production environments
- Modern AI/ML stack familiarity (vLLM, SGLang, LangChain, Triton, model serving)
- Architecture design and technical leadership with customer-facing communication
- Business acumen and deal-focused thinking
- High agency, bias for action, and comfort with ambiguity
- MLOps, infrastructure, or developer-tool background (preferred)
