Industrial Engineer

About this role

Lead factory optimization and production scaling initiatives for a growing satellite manufacturer. This senior-level role combines industrial engineering expertise with program leadership to drive manufacturing efficiency, throughput, and readiness across satellite assembly operations.

What you'll do

• Conduct value stream mapping and discrete-event simulations to identify bottlenecks and optimize production flows
• Design and implement factory optimization projects from planning through execution with cross-functional teams
• Develop capacity models, rate-readiness strategies, and production system architectures for scalable growth
• Optimize workstation layouts, tooling strategies, and material flow systems for satellite assembly and integration
• Establish factory performance dashboards, KPIs, and support MES/digital transformation initiatives
• Mentor junior engineers and coach process improvement teams while ensuring compliance with aerospace standards
