About this role

US Conec seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to design and optimize injection molding processes, precision molds, and manufacturing systems for high-density fiber-optic connectors. You'll drive continuous improvement initiatives, support production operations, and mentor technical staff in a global precision plastics company with over 30 years of expertise.

What you'll do

  • Design and develop injection molds, molding processes, and manufacturing systems
  • Identify and implement process improvements and cost-reduction projects
  • Create manufacturing documentation including work instructions and data sheets
  • Develop tight-tolerance measurement methods and perform metrology analysis
  • Provide technical support to production operations and troubleshoot equipment issues
  • Analyze customer returns for root cause analysis and lead process training initiatives
