About this role
Waabi seeks a Physical Infrastructure Engineer to design and maintain on-premise computing and networking systems that power autonomous vehicle development. You'll collaborate across hardware, software, and research teams to scale ML infrastructure, manage vehicle compute systems, and support high-volume data pipelines.
What you'll do
- Design and implement high-performance physical networks and computing systems for autonomous vehicle development
- Collaborate with hardware team on vehicle compute and network architecture, implementation, and performance tuning
- Build and maintain on-premise servers, storage, and network infrastructure supporting ML and CI/CD systems
- Develop tools and systems for OS deployment, software delivery, and data pipeline management across vehicles
- Troubleshoot and optimize vehicle compute and network performance in production environments
- Work with software and hardware teams on system hardening, security, and configuration management
