System Integration Engineer

About this role

Wayve seeks a System Integration Engineer to lead the assembly and testing of autonomous vehicle platforms, bridging hardware and software systems. You'll prototype new systems, troubleshoot fleet issues, and enhance integration processes for next-generation autonomous driving technology.

What you'll do

• Integrate and bring up autonomous systems on internal and partner vehicles
• Architect, prototype, and evaluate new hardware systems
• Support fleet troubleshooting and issue resolution
• Improve system integration processes and workflows
• Maintain development benches and hardware-in-the-loop systems

• 7+ years integrating complex systems
• Electrical, mechanical, and software system knowledge
• Hardware/software debugging and assembly
• Cross-disciplinary troubleshooting
• Linux and scripting tools
• C++, Python, or JavaScript code comprehension
• Electronics prototyping and wire harness design
• Supplier and contract manufacturer collaboration
