About this role

Woven by Toyota seeks a System Safety Engineer to support development of autonomous driving and advanced driver assistance systems. You'll ensure safety compliance and risk mitigation across software-defined vehicle platforms, contributing to Toyota's vision of accident-free mobility.

What you'll do

  • Develop and implement safety strategies for autonomous driving and ADAS systems
  • Conduct hazard analysis, failure mode analysis, and risk assessments
  • Define and verify safety requirements across software and hardware architectures
  • Collaborate with autonomous driving, software, and cloud teams on safety integration
  • Support compliance with automotive safety standards (ISO 26262, ISO 21448, etc.)
  • Review design and testing documentation to ensure safety objectives are met
