System Safety Engineer
About this role
Woven by Toyota seeks a System Safety Engineer to support development of autonomous driving and advanced driver assistance systems. You'll ensure safety compliance and risk mitigation across software-defined vehicle platforms, contributing to Toyota's vision of accident-free mobility.
What you'll do
- Develop and implement safety strategies for autonomous driving and ADAS systems
- Conduct hazard analysis, failure mode analysis, and risk assessments
- Define and verify safety requirements across software and hardware architectures
- Collaborate with autonomous driving, software, and cloud teams on safety integration
- Support compliance with automotive safety standards (ISO 26262, ISO 21448, etc.)
- Review design and testing documentation to ensure safety objectives are met
