About this role

Wyetech seeks a Software Engineer to develop and maintain complex software systems for federal government clients, including analytics platforms, real-time systems, and large-scale data processing applications. You'll work individually or collaboratively to design, test, and enhance software components while ensuring compliance with strict requirements and security standards.

What you'll do

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems spanning analytics, algorithms, and real-time processing
  • Review and test software components for adherence to design requirements and document results
  • Resolve software problem reports and troubleshoot issues in production systems
  • Provide technical input on system design including hardware/software trade-offs and COTS/GOTS evaluation
  • Conduct requirements analysis and synthesis from system to component level
  • Apply appropriate software development and design methodologies based on project needs
