About this role

Wyetech seeks a Software Engineer to develop and maintain complex software systems for federal government clients, including analytics platforms, real-time systems, and large-scale data processing applications. You'll work on both individual and team-based projects, ensuring software quality through rigorous testing and design review while contributing to system architecture decisions.

What you'll do

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems including analytics, algorithms, and real-time applications
  • Review and test software components for compliance with design requirements and document results
  • Resolve software problem reports and support ongoing system improvements
  • Apply appropriate software development and design methodologies for the target environment
  • Provide input on hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, and COTS/GOTS integration decisions
  • Conduct requirements analysis and synthesis from system-level down to individual component design
