About this role

Wyetech seeks a Software Engineer 3 to develop and maintain sophisticated software systems for federal government clients, including analytics platforms, real-time systems, and large-scale data processing applications. You'll work on complex technical challenges, contribute to system design decisions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams while maintaining high security and quality standards.

What you'll do

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems handling analytics, algorithms, large datasets, and real-time processing
  • Review and test software components for compliance with design requirements and document results
  • Resolve software defects and problem reports
  • Provide technical input on hardware/software trade-offs and COTS/GOTS integration decisions
  • Conduct requirements analysis and translate system-level needs into individual component specifications
  • Work individually or collaboratively within agile or traditional development methodologies
